Default WTD - Last Minute MOD !

I got this dual camera mount from ZTEC (Nick) last week and finally got around to installing it for the Dragon. I have never used a camcorder in my life and went out & bought a Sony MiniDV DCR-HC36. No clue on how to use it. Plus, I am borrowing M Polo's Canon Elura-80. One pointing forward and one for the rear end views. If I can figure this thing out, we will have some of the slickest footage ever shot at the WTD event. Wish me success ...................

How much did you pay for the whole set up camera and holder?

Sweet. Mount two cameras and face them both backwards, since you will be in front. If you mount them about 2in apart you can do 3-D.

The whole set up was $200, door to door. It is a tad pricey compared to other systems but once I got it mounted, I found out just how sweet it really is. The base is percision cut to fit the ever so slightly curvature of the deck lid.

The quick disconnects are the main reason for the purchase. Literally, in 2 seconds I can have both cameras in my hands and stored into the trunk or cabin for security. Plus, Nick has tried and tested this setup at the race track. If it'll work there under his domain, it'll serve me just fine. Supporting the fella' S2Ker' is a nice treat too!

I'm taking it to work tomorrow (the car) and me & M Polo are taking an extended lunch to play and experiment with the best possible angles, sounds, etc. I will try to post some new pics with both cameras mounted. Maybe, get some kind of a sample thread posted from the trial run if I can get it done before end of day.
