I test drove one of the first ones with the Rover motor. I can't wait to drive one with the Toyota motor, build and boost it!
You need to ride in the yellow one

PMed. I thought the Supra would be a great shop car but unless you want to go for 1600hp no one thinks a Supra has enough HP. I like driving the cars too much for that.

The Elise however would be a great project for a motor build and small turbo setup.

It is true to some degree. They are heavy cars

I didn't mean about how heavy the cars are. Believe or not stock they did .95 on the skid pad and eveyone knows how fast they are in a straight line.

What I meant was that every shop that has a Supra goes for max HP which makes they track only cars. Big slow spooling turbo and bad handling ford 9in rearend.

If we can't trade for the Elise I can sell the Supra and that should be more than enough to purchase the casr outright. It may take some time but I really like the idea of the Elise.

Trust me I get that everyday. Everone that comes by the shop wants it. I just have always like the Elise and would love to make that my next project car. Nice quick spooling turbo and an even better suspension!
Please experiment, maybe in the future you can build my 455 WHP Toyota powered Exlise...

Shouldn't be as problem but like my old S2000, I don't build for max HP but for driveability. Fast spool, good hp, and drives like the same car but with more HP.
