Default Colt 1911 - Government Enhanced Edition

Location: Bradenton/Wauchula, FL
Payment: Cash, Money Order

I am selling my awesome Colt 1911 Governmemt Enhanced Edition pistol. This is a full size (5" barrel) .45 caliber pistol. It is basically a standard Series 80 1911 with a bunch of Colt Custom Shop goodies on it that really work. Everyone who has shot this pistol has remarked how nice the trigger pull and accuracy are. This is a pistol you can carry every day, or shoot competitively. And because it's a 1911, you can customize it to your wildest dreams.

This pistol is one of the rarer FR-serial number Colts, only made for one year. This particular pistol has about 2,000 rounds through it, so hardly used. It has some light smudges, but I couldn't get them to show up on camera. Then again, this isn't a $3,000 show pistol anyway. This is made for someone who wants a nicely customized pistol that is deadly accurate and easy to shoot/carry.

New, this pistol goes for $1,200 right now. I'm selling it with a case, 2 mags, a Winchester universal cleaning kit, and 450 rounds of Winchester & Remington (high quality) ammo for $1,400. The ammo alone is worth $600, so it's a great deal. I just need to sell it

Please either PM me or email me at z.brewer@law.fcsl.edu. Thanks!

Edit: here is some info on the Government Enhanced Edition: In 1992 Colt introduced the Enhanced Government Models which included new features such as a flattop slide, angled rear slide serrations, scalloped ejection port, combat style hammer, beaver tail grip safety, relief cut under trigger guard and long trigger. (Trigger pull is shorter thanks to Colt Custom Shop, but the trigger itself is longer)

Bump for a stand-up seller. Buy with confidence. Bought my first 1911 from zbrewha863 a couple years back.

Haha thanks man! OMG I miss my S literally every day. The Mustang is a great car though, surprised me a lot. It just doesn't have the same soul and fun factor.

Speaking of which, this 1911 makes a great Mustang security system!

Oh also, price drop to $1,400 -- or $800 for gun by itself, $600 for ammo. If you're thinking about buying either, prices are going to steadily increase for the next few years, so better buy now!
