Default Just puting this out there.

I may be ending the lease on my 2006 S very, very soon. Before I just give it back, I wanted to see if there was any interest in anyone buying out the lease. The price would be $16,100 or something. It has 27,500 miles and is in great shape. I just hate to give it back and let a Honda dealership mark the price up another 4 or 5 grand.

This is still a big maybe. I can't promise anything. But, I wanted to test the waters first.

And a note to COs: This is not a "For Sale" ad that I am trying to sneak in here. I'm just trying to see if I would be doing someone a favor. If you don't agree, you can remove it, I guess.

Thanks,
Mike

Bump for a great guy!

If there is anyone that has taken the best care of his car, this is it. Mike has been meticulous about his car.

Best of luck, whatever happens.....Though it will be sad to see you leave.

Definitly a great price. A 2006 sold at Honda's auction to Honda dealers 25000 miles $18700 1 or 2 weeks ago. The dealer has to transport and safty it after paying that. If no intrest here try to sell to carmax, they might give a good purchase $4 u too

I do need to move it to the for sale section and we do have a policy on no "testing the waters" threads....either decide to do it or dont.

I would be upset if I was apotential buyer ready to move forward and you pulled the plug because you fell in love with vtec again.

If you are set to get rid of it fine...if you are on the fence tell us now and start another thread when the other shoe drops...

*UPDATE*

I just drove by his place and apparently he just went for a drive. I think he could be feeling the love again.

He really has taken great care of his gem.

First, thanks Dave for the kind words! Yes, I do take care of my baby. So, where did you see me? Was I driving out of the gate or something?

Primo's right. I would hate to lead someone on only to find that I don't have to part with it. I do love my car and stilll want to keep it. But, I just wanted to see if it was worth it to offer it here if I had to give it back. I can see that it would definitely be a good deal for someone. So, yes, I will put it up for sale properly if it comes to that.

Thanks everyone for your help!

I second the "Take it to Carmax" Idea...What could it hurt? I've sold a bunch of cars to them, just depends on the season as to what they want to buy.
