[QUOTE=S2KPUDDYDAD,Jul 23 2008, 05:56 AM] Here is another beauty, this is a killer 4.10 turbo rear. This PuddyMod custom built differential will work perfectly great with N/A if you like the stock gearing.

The rear has every option we offer in a reinforced stock geared, stock LSD unit.

Fully cryogenically thermo cycled, that is every part is cryo treated that can be before assembly by Sub Zero cryogenics in Tampa Florida.
This patented process is done to increase the strength, durability, and longevity of the components used in the build.

The PuddyMod custom built and reinforced housing can hold upwards of 200,000 PSI

New bearings

All new seals

Upgraded stronger 12.9 hardware throughout

Heavy gauge stainless steel retaining clips to hold the spanner nuts

Fully de-burred, media blasted, tumbled, and polished gears

Black phosphate finishing (same process used in firearms ) on bearing caps, hardware, and input flange

Solid custom sleeved pinion (no crush collar here) we use 10/20 mandrel steel (seamless)
The PuddyMod solid steel sleeve is made of 10/20 mandrel steel it is seamless and will not distort or compress. It is turned and machined by hand in several lathes until the proper size and fit is achieved. The sleeve is made one at a time and is unique to it

Hi. Quick question.
I'm looking for a diff reinforcement for my ap1. As of right now it is N/A, but i plan to run turbo with about 350 or so rwhp within the next year.

because I'm getting a turbo, i want to keep my stock 4.10 gears.
also, i have a stock diff with 55k on it.

I don't want anything special, just some assurance for the occasional launch. I will begin taking my car to the drag strip 1-2 times a year just for fun and don't want anything broken. Also, it would be nice to be able to do the occasional clutch drop/ burnout,

What is the cheapest way to make my diff hold up to the abuse and not worry. I don't have much money to spend so I was looking at the comptech reinforcements as well.

I live in Ohio right by HTG.

Thanks, and nice builds.

So what would the prices be on the stage 2, and stage 3, and puddymod full diff?
is the comptech strap worth it?
Also, are these warrantied at all or guaranteed?

How would these options handle up to launching?

Thanks so much for the info, I'm quite interested.
