You are referring to Professional SCCA Club Racing where one is required to have professional safety equipment far beyond what anyone in this forum (save for a few) would even think about getting.
For most amateur track day, solo, and autocross events, roll bars aren't taken into consideration and this cage looks absolutely sick with the top down
Also, with the 5th point, people can see the additional member across the rear window so it's obvious you have a cage even with the top up. But it does not block the view at all, in fact I miss it already after I took it off yesterday
