WTT/WTB: AP2 Rear Sway Bar
I figured I'd give this a try, even though I'm guessing it's a long shot. I'm trying to tame the ridiculous oversteer that has resulted from my 01 AP1 with 325whp and 225 front/245 rear tires.
Does anybody out there have a rear AP2 sway bar laying around that they'd like to get out of the garage? I'd also be willing to trade my rear AP1 bar for your rear AP2 if you're interested in a swap. The AP2's are softer than the AP1's, swapping from AP2 to AP1 should create a little more oversteer and would go great with an aftermarket front bar, or with a stock front bar if you're a mad tyte drafter yo (I suppose). A great, stock legal, autocross mod for you guys looking for all the edge you can get. Many people are looking for CR bars that are similar to AP1 bars, save your money and trade w/ me
Willie G, didn't you recently swap your rear bar for an AP1 bar? You don't still have the AP2 do you??? Let me know, thanks.

i'm not sure if Willie Gee had an OE rear sway ... but you're right ... he did just switch back to an OE AP1 rear bar.
I'm not sure if he's seen this yet ... and i just got off the phone with him too.

Jeez...with that kind of power I think I'd want to step up the tire size. You can get some SSR Type-C 9.5x17 with +65 offset that will run a 275 rear tire. Take a look at the TireRack.
Solves both the oversteer and helps get all that power to the ground.

Hankook makes a 275/40/16 tire, but it's an all season, and i think it's even H rated I've never tried them but here's the link to where i saw them, maybe hankook'll be the people you need to talk to about it

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't mind putting a little more rubber to the ground. I tried selling my 16 inch Volks a while back but nobody seemed to think they were worth what I thought they were worth. Someone needs to make 16's in something wider than a 245!
