Default Advice on car detailing services

Hi all, I know what you are all thinking: I need to detail it myself. Unfortunately, I live in an apartment without good access to water and frankly, I don't have the time this week. I have to drive to Kansas this weekend and have someone to impress there, so does anyone know of someone who I could trust my car to? I live in the CWE but work in Creve Coeur. Thanks in advance for your advice!

Stay away from Car Washes.

It is difficult for those that don't have a place to wash & Wax, hence our detail days (9/29). A bit late for your impression weekend however.

If you must... Go to a self service power wash station. Take a bucket, micro mit, and some towels for drying. Try not to spray directly onto any rubber seals. If you wait until the evening the sun will not be that strong and will ease the drying.

There is someone at my work that does detailing. I've never used them, but have heard good things about him. Information below:

The drive to KC will kill your clean newly wash/wax anyway. Too many bugs. At least pick up some quick detail spray, glass cleaner and MF towels.

Funny pic... not sure if I am that worried about bugs, haha. Thanks for the contact info, 8Ball... will give him a call!

Where do most of you shop for cleaning supplies in St. Louis? I might just grab the basics and make an evening out of it.

agree.

but Sam's Club or WalMart will be cheaper for the microfiber towels. WalMart also has the Mcguires detail spray and other name-brand wax products for a little less.

If you want to purchase 303 aerospace protectant locally, consider a marine boat sales place like Buds on HWY 70.

Depending on your time for detailing, here's everything you could possibly want to do super clean your S - booklet

I get all/most of my supplies from Proper Auto Care. One stop shoping for all of your needs from 303-5 step polishes to brushes, towels and detail tips.
