Default Audio Installation----!Attention!

So i finally got everything that i wanted. I just need some assistance installing it in my car. I would like to get everything done in 1 day, but will be willing to take 2 days if needed.

Only problem is that I am off work on Tuesdays and Sundays. Sundays I play soccer, and I do not get the times of the games until the Thursday before we play. So it will be interesting trying to coordinate install times. We are also busy at work, so i will NOT be able to get off work early or take off work on Saturdays.

Still would LOVE all the help I can get. Please post or PM for possible dates and times. I have all the wiring and a dremel to cut holes out of the door panels for the tweeters. Also have a DynaMat Bulk Pack to help with the sound.

HEAD UNIT:
Eclipse CD7000

COMPONENT SPEAKERS:
6.5" Polk Audio DB6501

AMP:
JL Audio 300v4

Where is the sub? I have a very nice sub/box.amp combo for sale. I also have a nice amp rack that should hold both of your amps and crossovers. The box and Amp rack are built by me. All pretty much Brand new. Was in the S for a month or so. PM me if interested.

This photo does not show the current amp rack.

I love it, Diamond Audio is an Awesome Maker! I never buy junk or cheap products. You can come by and install it your car, if you dont like it you do not have to buy it. But you will like it, it produces very crisp clean bass.

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to get done. Are you replacing the door speakers or adding these as Rear speakers? Are you adding a Sub? Just some suggestions below.

Are you planning on doing the following and if so, do you have the parts?

1) Run power cable from batter to where ever your mounting the amp. If so, you'll also need a)power cable, b)fuse plug c)connectors d)zip ties

2)Run new speaker cable foor door speakers. If so, I would run rear speaker cables while you have everthing apart so additions of rear are a snap. You'll need a)Speaker Cable 20' b)connectors

3)Placing Dynamat anywhere? This just takes a bunch of time

4) Will you be powering your cabin speakers as well as the sub? If so, you'll need additional 20' speaker cable and connectors

5) Additional zip ties and wire wrap is good to have on hand.

I can help you out Sunday depending on when you have soccer

thanks for the suggestions. i am off the next 2 days and will pick everything up. i do not have a sub yet, but plan on getting one in the future. have court on wed so depending on how much that is will depend if i get something now. the speakers will replace the front ones, no rear ones. i already have the ground wire, power wire and fuse plug. that came in my power wire kit. dynamat will go on the front door panels. i will get extra speaker wire and zip ties tomorrow. . i do not have an amp rack. i plan on putting it in the spare tire well.

When 8Ball and others helped me install mine it was an all day event. Some add'l time was spent getting the DCI to work. My suggestion, unless there is plenty of help around to put in the Dynamat later, you can do that at your leisure. Also, not sure if you thought of Tweeter placement yet, but this was quick and easy for my 2001 .... see pic.
