No complaints about the OEM battery - It survived being parked outside for a few winter months in Minneapolis before I got it. That being said - I did not price out the OEM battery and went for the "cool factor". It's bright yellow

No complaints here either with the OEM battery. Just replaced my original after 6 years/65K miles. Not badtrack record for a battery lasting this long

Ashley the OEM Honda battery is not a POS - it's more than likely you still have the original battery in your car from 2002, same as Ron (rehile) did ... ~5 yrs is pretty damn good for a battery, but it does sound like you need a new one.
