As long as all of your electrical SRS connectors are plugged in, Hook up a battery and turn the key to on. If the SRS light goes out after 5sec (approx.) The SRS system is normal.

Disconnect the battery for 3 minutes to allow capacitors, etc. to discharge, then hook stuff back up, hook the battery back up, do the idle learn, then you're good to go. (assuming, as Slows2k said, the SRS light comes on for 5 seconds, then goes out when the key is turned on!)

ayelien, I hope you had the battery disconnected before you started. The next thing to do is hook it up.

need to get the jumper from the dealer to reset it or just take it in to any qualified body shop or the dealer.

No jumper is needed, neither are any Honda specific scan tools. You disconnect the battery, replace the components that deployed and the SRS unit. Hook up the battery and key it up. SRS light goes out, sytem is normal. Clearing a SRS DTC, and troubleshoting a DTC are different processes.

That's all you'll need for component replacement after deployment.

Hope so. I don't want to get my nose busted!! nor the shock of having to pay out for another bag. Scary stuff sometimes.
