Default Clean Engine - Better milage

Remember the "Test" Engine Bay Cleaning on the beater?

Well... something unexpected has occurred. I used to get between 30-32 miles per gallon before the cleaning. I have now gased up for the second time and I am getting between 33-36 miles per gallon. My driving style really has not changed.

The engine bay dirt must have given me some wind resistance

Maybe due to warmer weather? I know winter vs summer, the mileage in my Lexus RX300 increases roughly 1 or 2 mpg during the summer.

Cool! But I think mkell is right -- It's practically summer out there.

I think it has to do with the wax from datail day. Smooth as glass equals less air resistance
