Default No Hood Coming

Finally called Seibon, in California, to find out when their next shipment of MG style hoods would be in. Was told a minimum of 6 weeks Guy asked me when I ordered my hood (2/20/06) and then told me they had them in stock until second week of March (sucks if true). Said Evasive wasn't one of their distributors/dealers, but they probably bought from one. I called Evasive, they apologized and said they couldn't explain why their distributor didn't ship the hood. I canceled the order. Not waiting another 2 months or more for the hood and repair.

Anybody have recommendations other than OEM? My requirements would be new, vented, and under 750 shipped. Oh yeah, the hood must have some part of it raised, no flat hoods. If I'm going flat, I'll go stock. Calling the body shop tomorrow to see how soon they can get me in. Be nice to have it back by the time of our billet pulley install day.

That's a real bummer. You really had your heart set on an aftermarket hood, so I hope that you find one. There are several in the For Sales section, but I know you want new. I'll keep an eye out.

sorry to hear that. Maybe it is time that we try venting the stock hood to see if you want to stay stock with the vents.
