Default Expensive lesson on Saturday...

So I found this guy from the BMW club since he is a BMW club member and has rolled fenders for numerous BMW members before so I figured he must be decent. I go there Saturday morning and he can tell how anal I am from the start since I insist on removing my own wheels (since they are new and have new lug nuts). Anyhow, I told him and his friend that I only need the lip rolled up a bit since it

Wow Keith....
And to think Duane was going to see if anyone from the BMW club could help him!!!
The group is definitely nothing like the S2k group!!!

Good Luck with the fix.

To be honest, all the BMW guys I have met are great... The guy who did the damage on my fenders this weekend was a really nice guy too. No complaints there. I think it was lack of experience with rolling fenders on a Honda. Honda metal tends to be 'thin'.

"thin" -- I agree. Three years ago, there was a terrible hail storm in Creve Coeur. All the honda's (actually all the JP cars) were trashed while the thicker-skin US cars were in fair shape.

Dude - sorry to hear about your car!

I would definitely have taken a much reserved approached if I had no prior experience with a particular car/model.

Sorry to hear about the fenders. You held your cool pretty well. I would have not ben as nice. Over time we will all learn. Never let anyone touch your car unless they have the EXACT experience you need them to have.

Dang, sorry to hear! I know exactly how you feel with someone you don't know touching your car...unfortunately. My car will be paying a visit to Gregs this week too. Long story, I'll post about it soon.

Do you know if Gregory is going to roll your fenders after he repairs them? Curious to know if they have a fender roller.
