Hey All,

After that quick ride after 8BALL's detail day, I'm really pumped about the May Missouri Hills drive. Hope the weather cooperates. That was fun

Saw this thread about using two-way radios on last year's fall colors tour.

Does anyone have a set of two-way radios for the Hills of Missouri run? I thought we had a pair of some cheap-o brand a while back and will now look for them...

I have 2 Unidens... Good up to 6 miles. These radios are great especially for group rides. Makes unplanned stops much easier to control.

Everyone bring theirs and we should do well.

The two-way radios do work great for these types of events. I've got a couple. My are getting aged though. Saw Target (mid-rivers & 94) is clearing out the 5 mile two packs of motorola's (nimh) with the charger for $35.95 (25.95 w/o charger) in case anybody lost their's. I just bought those for a gift a year ago for at least $80.

The kids seem to have absconded with our set

The deal at Target sounds excellent! We bought ours a long time ago and they were >$80 if I remember correctly.

Eric was cleaning an area in the basement and found our three two-way radios. We'll get the charged up with new batteries for the trip.
