Thanks to everyone that showed up. Hopefully next install day will be a little warmer, just a tab bit nippy on Sunday. I guess a heater is next on the garage upgrade list. For those that couldn't make it, the pics below are of my new garage floor. Yes, the letter S is a little hokey, but I like it.

That's awsome! It's the same floor I'm getting for my garage this spring. I think I'm doing a basic black/white checkerboard style outlined with silver tiles on the outside. How easy was putting down the floor? Did you do it yourself?

4wheelVFR - yeah, i installed it myself. take whatever time you think it will take you to install and multiply by 2-3 (2 if no neighbors stop by, 3 if they do). you'll need a very good pair of mechanics gloves, eye protection, a table saw or portable table saw (with new carbide tipped blade), a rubber mallet, and if you have wood cabinets and door jams, an electric jam saw (a circular saw that sits on it's side) so you won't have to notch the tiles. A new bottle of motrim won't hurt either. i like your design idea. one that you might consider would be the black/white checker just where you car(s) would sit (rectangular - like a pad), then surrounded by the alloy or graphite. pm me if you want an excel template to play around with for your design ideas.

Notice that Ron's the only one doing anything on the last shot.
