If the cover alone makes the lens look new again, why do the 12 step? Has anyone seen a set of lamps covered vs. Mike's Mirrored Finish? I bet Mike's looks smoother. JMHO

mine are smoother indeed!... I'm using the film to protect only. Got a lot of time spent into the 12 step. It does not make blemishes go away fully, just hides them a bit.

Recommended application also not easy. The film kept sticking before you could align properly. Ended up using window film applicator solution which did make job quick and simple.

All.. In all.. I would give this film a 2.5 out of 5 for looks and a 4 out of 5 for protection. Not sure yet if I will keep them on. First couple of longs drives will make up my mind.

That is one awesome tranformation from 'bad-to-good'.

Nice job! I would have pooped my pants after the first sanding. I've never heard of 12000 grit - must have been something like hand lotion (?).

I think my car might be next for this type-o-treatment.
