Is there anyway you could get a listing of registered Red Suburbans from the DMV in your area, and go on a hunt?

Wow man that does suck. Nothing like an gas-guzzling idiot SUV driver to ruin your day.

Round one goes to the Suburban

Picked up a salvage door off a silverstone on red yesterday. Man, that thing was rolled a few times - soft top caved in, a-frame caved in, wheels and suspension bent. About the only thing left not damaged was the door I needed and the F20C under the hood. I hope the driver is alive. Sad really, the mfg date was 9/99 - must have been one of the first ones exported to the states Made me realise how much worse things could be.

I dropped it off at the body shop and it looks like I will be out the door (no pun intended) for $700 total.

I got an alignment yesterday since I had replaced the left rear wheel bearing and the car still felt off. I went about my day but everytime I got back in it, it seemed worse - pulling to the right under acceleration. I'm thinking **** the frame couldn't be bent form a parking lot misshap! Turns out it was a near flat right rear tire

you could try to bring it to your local news station and maybe they'll say,

"Stay on the lookout for a dark red Suburban with damage. They involved in a hit and run yesterday and took off as the owner of the Honda S2000 was getting a birthday card for his mother."

Long shot....but never hurts to try. GoodLuck man!

Slip -

Glad your pull was a low tire. Sounds like your problems are solved (?). Any luck tracking down the 'culprit'?.
