Hey all,

Recently got stopped for a front plate violation by a Ballwin cop. He let me off with a warning so I was curious how much that fine would have been. To those that have been fined, do you remember how much the fine was? Are there incremental punishments for repeat offenders or is it the same fine each time?

I did a forum search here and it's too bad that bill about removing the requirement for a front plate failed. Hopefully it comes back up again.

It's funny, I drive a POS Jeep Cherokee for 4 years without a plate and never once got bothered by a cop. Get a red sports car and get pulled over within three weeks of owning it....

 

$ 75 in Maryland Height by Creve Coeur Park, but no points. I guess a Shiny red sports car made someone jealous the POS jeep didn't.

 

I was pulled over for no front plates for the first time ever (after running without plates for years on various vehicles) and I just got a warning. It was just an excuse for the cop to pull me over and look for bigger offenses. When he asked me, 'Do you know why I pulled you over?' For once, I had no idea.

 

I paid $72 a couple months ago.
