Thanks to he who hosted and helped with the seat rail - made it home without the seat falling apart

Apols to those who I might have been less sociable with today - the rail install was a little frustrating & I was ready to throw toys when I stripped the bolt

Good chili too

I had fun. Sorry I had to jet early only to have problems as soon as I got to the track.

My friend just built it for me. He knows what he is doing and I don't usually let anyone touch it except him. He is good, but something went wrong. We are thinking its a defect with the speed control. The gearing was right, the temperature was right, and everything was fine for about 6 minutes of run time and then 'poof'....
You see- When electronics are manufactured the company evidently packs a lot of smoke into them. No really- A LOT of smoke!!! When you let the smoke out- they don't work anymore.
Possibly a little over $350 down the drain. I'm told I have a 'hook-up' and he can get this taken care of for me since he is a factory driver for the company who built the speed control. I won't know til later this week on that though.

What track? What happened? I apparently missed all this.

Got to love Menzerna. Nearly after 8 years of use, this product still amazes me every time we apply it to a car that needed some lovin
