Hey jimmi, is there any way I might be able to get my car up on your lift before sunday? I need to replace my transmission mount and would prefer not you put the car on jackstands

LOL!

There will be NO RAIN (until we're back home). Cuz I said so.

Per what to do/bring. Check your fluids & tire pressure. Consider bringing a snack like hard candy from halloween. If you've got them, bring a two-way radio. I like to bring a bottle of water, the GPS (mostly for record of speed) and a few quick detail items like microfiber towel, windex, and detail spray.

And a camera

same stuff you use when you claybar. Allows you to debug your car quickly without washing.

Had to deal with Corporate politics all day and did not have a chance to post.

Have already looked for some alternate routes to shorten the trip if needed due to the weather. Because we have a nice size group, I'll do my best not to call the run last minute. Remember we are having a photoshoot with... are you ready for this... 19 cars so cameras and detail supplies is a must! Just to give you a feel of what 19 S2K's look like... Well.. Like This...

Things to bring:

Electronics:
CDs; MP3; IPOD, XM..... No stations where we are going
GPS
2-Way radios
Cameras, video camera
tripods

Detail:
Microfiber/absorbers
Detail spray
Water Blade
glass cleaner
extra towel

Odds & Ends:
Basic wrenches and sockets
snack bar
water
mechanic gloves
tire flat

Check:
Oil
Brake fluid level
tire pressure, don't forget spare if applicable

We also have quite a few newbies which is awesome. For those that have not attended a run with us in the past, please take a few minutes to read this article: Tips for a Successful Group Drive. We also have some specific rules to follow. These will be discussed when we meet in the morning. Be on time to listen in.
