I don't know where they get their information sometimes. Looking at the entire US map, there is no percipitation coming this way. It's still 30% chance and they added the word "Sunny" into the description as well.

Remember to monitor this thread early morning Sunda for a Go/No Go decision
I am with you there, the past 2 nights local weather has shown little to no rain.

Good thing I live close to work, my home PC crapped out. I will swing into the office about 7am Sunday to check progress.

Is it:

Family Steakhouse
10 Parkway Shopping Ctr
Potosi, MO 63664

(573) 438-2474
Change of Venue...

Based on a wonderful recommendation from P5744D (THANKS - ), I was able to make reservations for 34 people at Family Steakhouse. They have a private room in the back that will seat all of us. We will not have any problems with parking either as they have a parking lot large enough to park all of our vehicles. Reservations are for 11:45-12:00

Still true. Trust me. I may be sportin' the tonneau cover just to prove my point.

Just windy, cloudy (which is perfect for pics) and mid 60's I tell ya.

If you can possibly make room for one more, my weekend plans changed and I would gladly make the drive with you folks!

We have an awesome turnout for this fall run. If everyone shows as expected , we will have 20 cars. With a group our size, I will be difficult to be home by 3:00. Lunch and the Photo Shoot will take about as long as the drive itself. For those needing to be home at a specific time, I think 4-5 will be more realistic. If you need to be home earlier, I recommend to skip the photshoot after lunch which should get you home around 3:00 - 3:30

The first leg of the run will be about 145 miles (green on the map) through some nice windies and twisties. This section will be the most fun with the most aggresive driving happening. We stop in Potosi for lunch, then drive only about 30 minutes to Washington State Park for a photo shoot. We stay as long as we like and then a simple drive for another hour or so to get us home.

We are up to 20 cars - Deb... Still have you down

We also have quite a few newbies which is awesome. For those that have not attended a run with us in the past, please take a few minutes to read this article: Tips for a Successful Group Drive. We also have some specific rules to follow. These will be discussed when we meet in the morning. Be on time to listen in.

Meeting place will be the Park and Ride at 94 & 40. There are two lots at this intersection. We will be meeting the P & R on the west side of 94 (KC Side). Our group size warrents we leave on time to remain on schedule. Please plan on meeting by 7:30 - 7:45. We leave sharp at 8:00, no exceptions.

The weather is still iffy - Partly cloudy with a slight chance of thunderstorms. High 66F. Winds S at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 30%.

Stay tunned for a final GO/NO GO post at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.
