what does SWMBO mean?
I'll be alone, too.
As of Today, assume that our day trip is on! The 10 Day forecast for 3/31 is : :drumrole:
64 degrees - 10% Percipitation chance
So, to summarize this trip and prevent back tracking in this thread...
Time: 8:30 am, we leave at 9:00am sharp!!!
Meeting Place: St. Louis side (East) side Park & Ride at 40 & 94
Lunch in Farmington Silver Star Steakhouse & Saloon
Route Information:
There (Red Route)
121 mile trip. This milage includes stopping at Elephant Park, then heading to Farmington for lunch. I would think 1.5-2.0 hour drive plus 30 minutes at park. Figure 3 hours from the time we leave to lunch. For those that will need to munch before hand, bring a snack.
Lunch around noon in Farmington and then a short trip home
Back: (Blue Route)
86 mile trip: A short and sweet trip home with some nice windies and twisties. Through De Soto, then to Eureka and home. Less than 2 hours
Suggest we leave at 9:00 with 1 potty/gas stop and then hit the park/parks, we should have lunch by 12:00. An hour (+/-) for lunch and 1.5 hours home, should get us home by no later than 3:00

To date, interest to attend are listed below. Please confirm so I can get head count. I did a best guess based on thread information
Mike & Sherry (8Ball & SherryO) - Confirmed
Ron (rehile) - Confirmed
Joe (s2kjr)
Frank (frankcandy610) - Confirmed
