March Day Trip
Please eliminate Taum Sauk. Maybe we can hit that again on a full-blown spring or full run.

LOL!
Too far away to predict for Jan 28, but I heard the weather is going to turn yucko next week (snow/sleet). The day drive will have to be postponed if the weather is bad for driving.
I've got my fingers crossed!
I've got my fingers crossed!
Still moving ahead until we get closer to departure date
Based on feedback, route has been shortened; stops removed/altered; more twisties; home earlier...
I've made some alterations to the route by removing Taum Sauk park, shortening the route by over 40 miles. Was also able to find some better back routes for more windies and twisties. My original post (Click Here) has been updated with the information. I've also incorporated a stop at Washington State Park for another photo opportunity. It's only 2.5 miles out of the way, but can add up to 40 minutes to the route.
So here are our choices summarized.
Option 1:
Leave at 9:00
Elephant park only
Lunch by noon
Home before 3:00
Option 2:
Leave at 8:00
Washington State Park
Elephant Park
Lunch by noon
Home before 3:00
Either option will work for me. So please post up your votes now. Run is on as scheduled until day before departing.
