they're comin' -- have to clean off a MAJOR BIRD POO. Was drivin' home today (top up in the rain), passed under the Blanchette Bridge, then heard a huge plop. That's normal, usually. During heavy rains, really big drips fall from the bridge supports.

Well, this time a big bird had a really big problem. The "goo" streamed out from the front quarter all the way over the hood, then windshield, sideview mirror, and side window. It's a total mess.

That was the week the local paper talked about pelicans migrating through the area. Maybe that's what is was...

FINALLY washed the car today. Looks great. Body work is flawless. The smudge I noticed (DeepBlue saw this) washed off. It was just dust. The color-match (paint) job was excellent. Still no pics, though

Finally have a chance to catch up on some of the threads. Sorry to hear about your (an your S) plight. Glad to hear all came out well. In hindsight, be glad that they actually tracked you down to let you know about the dammage.

Ironically just this morning one of my cars (not the S... thank goodness), got hit in a parking lot at church. Damage is not bad, just on the bumper which is now cracked with some severe paint dammage as well. I guess since it was in a church parking lot, I would have suspected someone would leave a note. No dice. I hope the people upstairs were watching!

Happy to hear all is well with you and your S... CU in 6 days (MOM07)!

not so bad as last time, but...

This spring weather is awesome - but - it happened again. A porky bird decided to 'unload' and it splattered all over the windshield. The top was down so I guess the timing of 'the drop' was optimal for me. Yeah!
