Sorry for the delay rehile! i never noticed you had asked me a question!

but yup! I am replacing the AP1 front bumper with an AP2. I just dropped it off this morning at Stephen Vincel Honda to get it painted and put on the car! AND!!!! I just received my fenders today also, so as soon as I get the S back I gotta put those on asap!

Also any suggestions on how to shave off the side emblems on the fender?

I'll post pics later on today once I get some more paperwork done at work. haha

i used a hair dryer and floss to get mine off. heat it up and saw through the glue. worked like a charm.

Used Teflon floss and blow dryer. I think I used some goof-off to remove any remaining glue.

Floss was too weak for me... I'd use fishing wire.

BTW, does Vincel knows to shave the rebar for the AP2 bumper?

cool, i plan on working on shaving the fenders tmw before i head into work. i'll let you guys know how it turns out.

And yes! i did a buncha research all through forum, and saw you had to cut the bumper bar and foam at the sides. I had told the shop manager (Rich Terry), He gave me his email address and I sent him pics right off the website. Plus im prolly gonna have to remove my front bumper when I throw the fenders on, so i'll see what kinda work they do.

when i shaved my fenders, i used blue tape and taped a paper towel over the adhesive, soaked that in goo gone, and then used a hair dryer to heat it up. keep adding goo gone and heat. should help take it off a bit easier.

That seems to be the easiest approach. You may need to use some alcohol swabs to clean up some residue adhesive. If you use Goo Gone or even alcohol to clean up, make sure you give the area a good wash and wax after you are done so it will not eat through your clear coat

Just a couple of pics of the fenders still in wrapping.
And my AP1 front bumper (already sold) i picked up today from stephen vincel, im gettin the S back tmw morning!!

I didnt get time to shave the fenders, and I got a heat gun. Is that going to be way to hot? and Should I hit the heat from the back of the fender or on top of it facing the s2000 logo? Also Picked up some Automotive formula Goo Gone from Auto Zone today. I'll post pics later and let you guys know!

Be careful with a heat gun. It may get to hot. Pull back at least a few inches. Hit it facing the logo, shooting the heat down on it
