but being a new owner, and only now realizing of the potential for the S2000, any suggestions, mods, what to do first, would be helpful. anything from care to the car, engine mods, interior, stereo, anything and everything i would love to know. thanks for the great response from everyone.
Take out some of the slack in your throttle cable.
NEVR-DULL works wonders on exhaust tips. Keep the rubber on the road and the shiny side up!

Yo - Ryan -- you'll hear a different recommendation from everyone. For example - I'm an "old guy" and treasure my hearing, so I'll make the super-sound system a low priority.
One thing I think everyone can agree on though - "keep the shiny side up" -- The S can be unforgiving car in certain situations. For example, be certain not to mix snow/ice and the S, unless you have no choice.
Congratulations on your new car & hope to hear about your mods in the future...

i think i am going to get a fujita cai. now on their site, free shipping, total cost is 308 but how comfortable should i be if i look on ebay. there is a jdm seller, 100% feedback with the same information as the fujita site, but for 248 with free shipping. how confident should i be looking on ebay for car parts, regardless of the sellers rating.

In other words, don't think you need to buy an intake just because a bunch of people have intakes. Figure out what you want to do with the car and see if an intake is included in those plans, and where it lies on the priority list.

What do you want to do with the car? Unless you have cash to burn, you should come up with a goal for your car, a realistic one, and work towards that. This will keep you from wasting money on parts that won't help you with your vision, saving it for the ones that will help you build your dream.

... But it sure is fun to buy and install stuff on your ride!
realistically, super charger isnt in the relm of thinking right now. student loans, car payments and fun with the car are the priorities. so intake, audio, and some visual mods are in the future.
