Oct Fall Run
Gateway members...
We are scheduled to hold a Gateway Fall Day Run in October. The leaves will be at premium colors 10/14-10/25. We have many options. If your going, we need your to help select the route.
I have a couple of great routes already planned at the 150 Mile, 200, 250, and 300 mile levels. The longer then run, the better the journey! I'm targeting 10/15 but will let you decide how long out journey will be. Remember that's a 150 +/- round trip is to Hermann and back - no extras
So.. 10/15 is the date we are targeting. You decide how long you want to ride. I'll find the best journey. We'll work lunch in and several potty stops too.
Chime in if you're interested and indicate your mile route tolerance. I would like to land around 225-250 miles

Approx. 180 miles, 3hrs. 50 min. without stops. no ferry crossings. An its a direction we never go, so new. We can take sandwiches and eat at Pier Marquette State Park (they also have a restaurant) or eat in Louisiana, MO., K.C's Place Restaurant. (3424 Georgia St, Louisiana, MO 63353-2743). Just a thought you have any Pete. Mike my have other routes.

We are driving through Hermann, not stopping there so it should not be an issue. But am open to any other routes that you may want to take. I also created another 180 drive taking us down to Mark Twain. So it looks like we have several options here

So... we have three routes to choose from - You guys pick. I actually like the above giving Dan an opportunity to lead the group.
