[QUOTE=SlipAngle79,Apr 9 2007, 08:15 PM] Just talked to a guy at proper auto care, he said to buy the orange buffer pad and use the Menzerna polish II and it should get most of it.

I got several power sanders with some 60-grit if you want to really take the surface down a notch

Yeah, thanks for the offer Rehile but I think I'm going with my angle grinder and a concrete bit - I want a Jackson Pollack look on the hood

Think you're so fancy, with your esoteric art refrences.

Before you Pollocks-up your hood maybe you should consider going a little psychedelic instead & get a CF hood with silver thread through it Should look good on the Berlina Black

It looks, like, organic or something, like a wet black horse. I can't say I'm fond of it. They should make a finish that looks like oil stain, with a rainbow effect in sunlight. I have been having visions of a CF hood, coil overs, 18 inch bronze wheels, R-compunds, a black four point cage, red Bride racing seats with green Takata belts, Amuse T1R single exhaust, NSX-R MOMO steering wheel, b;laaa b;aaa blaaa

A guy can dream can't he?

So 8Ball helped me out Saturday with some PC buffer action. I used the Menzerna final polish II twice with Mikes orange pad, then finishing touch polish with white pad, and FMJ with red. We got a good 80% out, its hard to tell the scrathces were there unless you are at just the right angleyes I know my black car looks like crap next to Mikes "dirty" car)
