Mike,

I've got my diff fluid already and will try and get the transmission fluid by the 12th.

On another note, I changed out the fuel pump in preparation for the supercharger installation. That tray underneath the convertibe top is a major PITA to deal with. I love the Honda service manual instructions to. They're so vague that they might as well through a few insults in there to put you in the proper mood... I lost two tools inside of the body doing that job, and was absolutely shocked and amazed that I managed to get them out of the car later. Of course, now I'm trying to get the crank pulley off - with little success I might add. The torque spec is 180 foot pounds! I can't imagine for the life of me what reason there would be for having that much torque on that particular bolt, especially since it's only 19mm... The starter motor was not strong enough to break it free, so I hosed it down in Kroil last night and will try again today.

Mike, is there any chance of getting the Honda guys at Napleton to lend me their crank pulley removal tool? Also, when are we going to have that $45/hour labor rate for dealer service in place? I have my new springs mounted on the extra struts, but don't want to drop the lower control arms in order to do the R&R. I figured that I'd have Napleton do that job once your deal is made. When will that be anyway???

Sounds like your having way TMF. Glad you recovered the tools. Lend tools... I doubt it. Most mechanics own their own tools and I would not let any borough mine if I didn't know them.

Ed Napleton reduced service rate?... I should know more by tomorrow. You could try to call Paul at wheel image... and see if he can do that type of work. He will already give us a good service rate. See our For Sale forum for more info.

Any luck with Napleton yet Mike?

I bought the Moroso crank pulley removal tool last night from Summit - along with my Redline MT-90 gear lube for transmission replacement.

Consider the tool a "club asset" by donation once this job is through. I'm sure that others will one day want to use it (for an underdrive pulley install if nothing else). Actually, we should probably have a list stored somewhere of all the "application specific" tools that we have available to us as a group (for use amongst the club members).

No word yet... I'll call them in the morning.

Great idea on the tools list. Let me get something started.

Hope all had a good time, i did!

Thanks for the pics. I'll combine them with mine and work up a few sample cards

Glad the remotes are working. Was reading up on a few things we could have missed. I bet we just didn't finish reading the directions all the way to the end -Right?

By adjusting the "Granny Slack" a bit more, do you notice any difference? Next time you take the car on a normal drive (to work), pay close attention to how the car responds from a dead standstill. You will require less pressure on the gas peddle before taking off.
