Well I'm taking my car up to a family member's muffler shop tomorrow to remove my resonator. Within the next couple weeks their main guy is going to put a custom set up together for me. Have any of you removed yours? Opinions before it gets cut off?

No, don't do it, it sounds horrible.

 

I had mine removed yesterday and I like it, I think this is the way the S should sound from the factory.My wife didn't even notice it, but I can tell. Beauty is in the ear of the beholder!!

There's plenty of s2ki threads that support the resonator-ectomy. Glad you like it.

BTW - even the amuse comes with the same resonator. Guess that's one reason it sounds a bit on the MILD SIDE

 

Man I'm out of it... I had to read that whole thread like 3 times before I saw what you were talking about. So one yes and one no... Hmm.. Shawn why dont you like it?

 

I think, no know, that Shawn is pulling your leg. When he was hear last install day he demonstrated his mod to all of us for at least 10 minutes and was smiles all the way.
