Default Replacing a soft top

Okay here it is.... we may have a found another S2K to buy that has a bad engine. We would swap out the engine with the one from my current S. Also since we like the glass window better we wondered if we could swap tops. Any thoughts on this? The bad engine would then be rebuilt to put in the 02 S for a track car!!! (Maybe the official Gateway S2K car!!!)

I'm sure someone is going to post a zillion links to others who have done it. It sounds like a great project to tackle though. Let me know if you need some help.

just out of curiosity, why are you wanting to make ur current vehicle a track car? why not make the blown engine one a track car, reason I say so is becuase the engine is blown which would lead me to thinkn its been drivn hard.

Sent you a PM to explain in more detail the situation. Most already know!

From the many links out there it is a DYI job, but will take a good two days to do.
