Sighted, pulled over and carded a Black MY03 in the Galleria parking garage today. Car looked stock.

 

yep got the card today when I left work!!! Are you at the Galleria a lot? I know we've seen a silver S2K there before. I have the Puzzled? store there.

Okay we saw a red S2000 going east on 40 at 6:55pm on Sunday, Oct.1. Had aftermarket exhaust. Plates XMX 466 I think. Wasn't in my S2K or we would've waved!!! Nice looking ride!

but he was not in the red S.

 

Had a student over the weekend at Gateway in a red AP1 S2000. He's been autocrossing the car and it wasn't setup for track (high speed) use. We spun it in turn 1 when he went too fast throught the corner, and I wanted him to slow down - but unfortunately I used the word "brake". He did, and we naturally spun. No harm, no foul though. I brought him some alternate tires to use on the front end (from my extensive inventory, hah!) on Sunday and that helped out a bit.

I gave him a card, told him about what we do and how we can help him out. Hopefully, we'll be seeing David P. at one of our monthly meetings soon.

Yeah, that was me!

Thanks for the instruction Greg, I got a lot more comfortable (and hopefully a lot faster despite the lack of timing) as the weekend went on. I look forward to more track days and will have to decide how I'm going to rectify the oversteer problem without kicking myself out of A-Stock autocross.

It's sounding like I'll be needing my fifth set of wheels and tires I'm going to have to get a bigger garage.
