Its possible Ryan

Diz. I am going with Ron and DJ on this. Its your synchro. They are cheap to replace, at least on another vehicle of mine they were.

Or its becuase you let Pete C. drive your car, j/k.

I didn't mean any offense by it, I just didn tknow what it means. Hey, I'm with you man, I think these cars are a little on the delicate side for a Honda, but then again they are built by hand and turn 90000rpm's. Can you imagine if the Italians tried to build a car like this for 30,000? I have grinded gears a few times at least and have no issues. Did you change out the MTF yet? That is one of the first things I did. From what I have read 5th and 6th are weak, even leeting out the cluthc to early once in gear on them can cause problems.

The car may be a little fragile for a Honda but it's typically down to previous owners: the way they drive the car & the servicing attention (or otherwise) they give it when they know how hard they're thrashing it.

Hey Diz, step 1 has to be to change of the transmission fluid - see if that helps - then take it from there...

We all know how frustrating it can be when your dream ride starts acting up. This group is great for advice & help - let's try to work through it to where you're back enjoying the car again.
