sweet! I might just head on down there after I change my plugs to get a base line. Maybe I've got a Tsuchya special form the factory with 215whp - balanced and bleprinted!

in my dreams.

215whp if so, you'd own the st louis record for a n.a. s2000. dreams are good, but then, unfortunately we have to wake up. who know's, the right mods combined with the vafcII/neo, you might get close.

Do yourself a favor and get a PnP harness from Justin at Boomslang in Jefferson City. The ecu location is too cramped to solder all of those wires.

If you are looking for N/A power- have you taken your CAT off yet?

by cat you mean catalytic converter? No. I was pondering buying a hgh flow cat in addition to a oem size K&N style filter or maybe the ARC induction box. I wanted to do the base run first before I buy anything, so I will post in here when I schedule that. Then I figured I would do the VAFC tune on a stock set-up to see what I actually gain. Then the CAT, intake, and maybe exhaust with a tune to seal the deal. I dont think 215-220whp is out of the question with all of the above, do you?

People on the boards don't like the ARC box for some reason. Research it before you shell out that kind of cash.

Ya, by cat i mean the catalytic converter. If you eliminate it with a straight pipe it will give you a few extra hp. It was the only N/A mod that I actually felt a difference with.

vbmarcus from the Oklahoma group has one. Reach out to him as he'll give you some feedback (good or bad)

maybe any mod that changes the sound (CAI, cat, exhaust) gives the driver the allusion there's improved hp. It works for me! Each of these mods are at best incremental improvements.

I really do not think it was the sound as CAI did nothing to the butt dyno.

It also made a 16hp jump with the S/C on there..

If I put a strieght pipe in, I fail emissions, no? I'm getting kinda anxious to go do a base-line run. Maybe I'll give mustang muscle a call and see what kind of rates we could get for dyno time.

No, you won't fail emissions if you get one with a CEL delete. You only fail emissions of you have a CEL on..
