Default Valve adjustment question?

Does anyone know how much Honda wants for a valve adjustment? How long does it take? Also, how much and how long for compression tests? My S has had an over-rev or two in its past. Just want to make sure everything is ok. My car has a little over 50k btw, when is a valve adj. needed?

Helms and the owners manual states every 105,000 miles or 7 years for valve adjustment.
If you drive anything like me, I suggest every 60,000 miles.

I just did mine and there isn't much to it. (I've done it on B series for years)
All you have to have is a set of feeler gauges, a ratchet, 19mm, 10mm, 8mm sockets, a 10mm wrench and a screwdriver. Helms helps, instructions on here help, and so does the valve adjustment tool from Snap-On but not a have to.
Read up on it, or buy a helms... It will definitely save you some $. All you will need besides that is a valve cover gasket set and an oil change lined up.

Compression test isn't hard either, but you will need to have a compression tester and know what to do... Most testers have instructions, and there is plenty of info here I'm sure. I could walk you through either if you need help.
Neither of these are too technical if you feel up to the challenge and it's a great way to get to know your car.

I had my valves checked at 25k miles and they were great. A compression test is very easy:
Pick up a compression tester (about $20)
Drive the car so it is all warmed up
Remove coil cover
Remove 4 coil packs
Remove spark plugs
Unclip you injectors
Screw the compression tester in each spark plug spot and crank the car at WOT for x amount of time and record the results of each

Where can you pick up one of these testers?

I have one you can use. It is a snap -on and has long reach hoses.
If you have overevved to often I suggest you take a close look at the tops of the valve stems. Overevving pops the tips off the valves. I have a few I can show you.
