I might be getting a Mugen Header. I was wondering how difficult the install is? Who has them and what are your thoughts? HP gain? Before I spend a lot of money and buy, I was just wondering what everyones opinions are.

Doesn't look like anybody has a set here (I guess)... I thought David did...

Either way, I can't see it being terribly hard. I'm sure there is a DIY here you can find. Let me know if you need some help.

J's header, almost zero gains NA. Works better with boost.

I believe d-j and rpstl (Ron) are the only two in the area who did this. rpstl has moved to the Denver area, though. He said the sound was improved, but I don't recall a HP gain number. They looked awesome, though.

Ours has a DC header, but it also has HKS exhaust and a Vortech blower. I couldn't tell you if there are any power gains or not with/without the header. From what I've read, however, an aftermarket header on a NA setup provides very little hp gains, especially compare to how expensive it is. I'm sure the sound would be improved, but you could achieve that with a straight pipe.

Much better idea IMO. I need to work on my stereo as well.
