Check Engine Light...
My check engine light had been on for two weeks now, and the suspect cause had been the gas cap too loose. (It takes about 5 days to get the ECU to redetect the correctly seated gascap and in that time I had to get gas once again so I had to wait a few more days)
Took it into Honda Carland this AM and they figured it out in 30 minutes. The cause: The intake air temperature sensor had failed. First one they had seen do that. They don't stock that part, so they had to order it and unfortunately all shipping was halted the last two days so it will be next week before they can get me the part...
So, just sharing with the pack... caused me no permanent damage.
I have to keep it under VTEC just in case. And you know it is killing me.

Modifry can help you locate the wire to the dash that you can cut to get rid of those annoying indicators. He helped me re-wire my stook.
If it takes 5 days to reset it then maybe all you need to do is reset date and time ahead to correct it.
Thanks for the nfo!

Got the IAT replaced, the oil changed, my side emblem replaced (it was cracked) and the JDM headlights in and calibrated... I am with great wood. Honda Carland kicks ass. Charged me 1/3 what they were supposed to.
