Default Drive the Wolf

Hi....the FLA lurker posting here.

I just want to make sure that all of you know about this route in Nothern GA.....Wolf Pen gap route. Fairly popular with motorcycles but under utilized for sports cars.
here is the map:Wolf Pen gap

Make sure you plan a stop at Suches. The Two Wheel Inn wont alow cars to park but you can park up on the road and walk in. Food is ordered at a window and brough to your table and is nearly gourmet quality. I highly recomend. The small convenience store is busy, has t-shirts (I have been promissed by the owner that he is going to have sports car shirts printed along with his usual motocycle shirts.)

An almost unused section of road is 60 north of Suches.....pretty twisty you can make a big loop up to the Zell Miller parkway, over to Blairsville and then back down 129. The Richard B Russel scenic highway is nice and again under utilized. It is just east of the WPG loop Russel Scenic HWY

have fun and NEVER cross the yellow lines.

James does this help with my status in the GA forum?

Your link did not work. I fixed it for you.

This would be an interesting weekend excursion, i'm up for it as long as i'm free. Maybe we can meet some of our Augusta and Atlanta friends and make a group drive out of it

Give me a few weeks to shakedown the car and I will be very up for it.
