Default Forced into curb.....

I hate 2 lane left turns...maybe we are simply too low to the ground for people in trucks to see us. I was in the right lane and the truck (pickup) was in the left lane of a 2 lane left turn. The truck turned into my lane and I hit the curb before they drove off....

I need a new front passenger wheel and an alignment. Does anyone know where I can find a deal on on either of these?

You have two choices on the wheel:

1) Have it repaired - several companies in the area will re-machine the wheel.

2) Replace the wheel. HandA or Manchester Honda are two good Honda dealers that offer parts at discounted prices. You might want to see if a local dealer would do some price matching.

Sorry to hear you got some damage.

This happened to me as well in a dual left turn lane not too long ago. Thankfully, I had another lane to use! I recommend air horns; I don't think that SUV driver saw or heard me until I was in the extra lane pulled up next to him, still on the horn, screaming!

Al,

I'm sorry to hear that about your S...

I actually have to get a wheel re-machined as well.... I get a lot of vibration upwards of 125mph

How would you know? With your limited HP I doubt you can get over 110. You really need that supercharger. Wonder where it is now.

Al, sorry to hear about your incident. You were just lucky it wasn't any worse.

Thanks for your replies. I do feel lucky that it was not any worse. I am going to the dealer in the morning for a new wheel and an alignment.
