Greetings S2000 Atlanta. This is about the co-meet we are having 11/19/04 from 7pm- whenever, a Friday night. You came out strong to our July Super Meet and quite a few of us have hung out before. Dewain and I have spoken and we want this to be a great co-meet. SELOC meets every 3rd Friday nights at the Starbucks Downtown off Piedmont Rd. The management there is cool with us and have free samples of desert and coffee. We'll check each others rides out and after chatting for an hour or 2, take a "spirited" drive up GA 400 and go to Andretti Speedlabs to finish the night! There we'll eat, drink and play games and be merry! We'll be working on discounts at Andrettis for everyone.
Directions:
From the Southside:
Take 75/85N the downtown connector to 85N. Exit at GA 400N. Get off at the first exit and make a left at the light. At the 2nd light (Piedmont Rd), make another left. Get in the right lane the Stabucks is visible on your IMMEDIATE right, turn right at the light into the parking lot.
From the Northside: Take 75/85S to GA 400S. Make sure you have 50 CENTS for the toll booth. Get off the first exit after the toll booth (Lenox Rd). Veer right and get in the left lanes, at the 2nd light (Piedmont Rd), make another left. Get in the right lane the Stabucks is visible on your IMMEDIATE right, turn right at the light into the parking lot.
For those coming late and want to meet at Andrettis.
Take GA 400 N to exit 8 Mansell RD. Turn Left. Get in the Right lane. Go down until u see Alpharetta Hwy (you will pass a Lexus dealership) make a right, get in the left lane. Andretti speedlabs is ahead on the Left.

The official November drive is set. The drive will be on Saturday November 20th. We will be driving down to Pine Mountain Georgia to go on an animal safari! I don't know if any of you have done this before, but it's definitely worth the trip. Plus it's a little further south so some of our more unseen member can easily attend (chuck). This is not going to be a fly through the woods as usual. The animal safari is like a real life Jurassic park, only with modern day animals. We will be driving through an open wildlife resort that is home to free roaming animals such as Buffalo, Zebra, Longhorns, Camels, Giraffes, Ostriches, and Rhinos. While the S's will be safely parked in the lot, we will be touring in vans that the park lets out (although you are free to take your S through the park).
It is a park, so there will be an entry fee. I'm working on getting a group deal, but I need to know how many people will actually go before I can negotiate. I'm hoping to get rates under $10, but that will depend on how many we have participating.
Anyway, I thought this would be a nice changeup for the cold weather since we probably won't be able to enjoy much top-down driving around this time. Thoughts and ideas are welcome as usual.
