I'm not into 3-piece wheels. How much do they weight? Is that $885 PER wheel for the 17X7.0 HRE 540 series?

I like the look of 543 and 547 wheels better; especially the 5 split spokes look on the 547!

Looked like about $900 for the wheels in that series yes. Whats wrong with three-piece?

Just personal preference, I guess?
I can't remember exactly what was negative about it That I read few years ago? But I just like my wheel to be one piece (so, they only come apart when over stress to the material limits or upon impact!), instead of 3-piece plus 16+ bolts or screws to hold it together. (plus the wheel pieces -hub, ring, and hardware- materials could all be different <I don't like that>).

Even though you can apply "Locktite" to the threads of fasteners, I still don't like my wheel to be more than one piece.

I think the positive side of 3-piece design is that you can interchange the hub pieces to adjust the offset of the wheel without spending a lot of money to purchase another set of wheels? (But $900 per wheel without a tire is a little too steep for me, unless they are less than 10 lbs and for track use. Spoon and Mungen's racing wheels (15"- I was looking for my CRX) were around 8.5 lbs or less! They are less than $600 a piece!)
