Well after about a month of looking for the cables for my old Kodak DC280Z, I gave up and talked to Jenness (TheGeneral) about a new cam. He let me borrow his Olympus C2100UZ and it ROCKED. So I just got me one. Makes me do this ------->

So if any of you need new pics taken of you and your S for this site or whatever else, wash your car and bring it to the Dillard Run. I'll take pics for whomever and post them wherever on the site you need.

Yippee!!!! My car is washed (or was this a.m.) ... I'm a late addition to the Dillard run ... and I need to look at your camera and have to tell me all about it (in addition to picture taking) so that I can see about getting one for myself. WHAT TIMING!!! Thanks ... looking forward to tomorrow!

I've used that camera before, and it DOES rock! It takes even better movies than mine. Have fun with it. I am sure Mo will be fully trained on how to use it!!!

My car is defianately not clean since it was at Hi-Fi Buys today. I just ran out of daylight. It still looks clean though thanks to Zaino.

I've had a C3030 for over a year, and it's pretty good, but the sound is crap on the video's. Serious crap. Very noisey and distorted. The only clear sound in the video is the click the camera makes when you start and stop the movie. You'd think they could at least chop out the camera noises. But the 3.3 m-pixel photos are pretty good.

I've been looking at the C700. It's a smaller package than the C2100, and I think the only difference performance-wise is it doesn't have the image stabilization. Same 10x optical/2.7 digital and 2.1 m-pixel resolution.

Where'd you get the C2100? Local or Internet?

You can't buy the C2100UZ local anymore, only on Ebay or pricewatch. And it kicks ass on the rest DUE to the image stabilization pluys advanced features.
