OK Guys! Share your knowledge about keeping our S2000's Beautiful. My car looks like its been through a pine tree ORGY. I've got Pine Jizz all over it.

Either, keep it in the garage and don't drive (not possible), or keep a car cover on it (difficult), or buy a California Duster (helps), or buy a Yellow S2k (too late for you).

That's all I've got.

I heard today that if you get one of those metal strips that drags the ground like on tanker trucks that it will put a positive static charge on the exterior of the car that will help repell the pollen from landing on the car.

Saran Wrap might work also, but keep it away from those tailpipes!!!

If you switch to Michelin MXV energy tires I hear that they build up quite a static charge on the car also.

Michelin had many complaints as a result of the compound that they used in those tires.

Speed, you have the right idea, the grounding strap dissipates the build up of the negative charge on the vehicle.

However, I think the grounding strap or MXV tires would do little to repel pollen (unless the pollen has a negative charge) because the SH*T just sticks to everything.

BTW, ever wonder why wax causes water to "bead" on the car???

Just give it to me till the pollen goes away. Now you don't have to see all the pollen and pine Jizz all over it.

Hmm, maybe don't wash it and say it's the LIMITED version of the S2000.

The General and I were out all day Saturday running some twisty roads. I meant that the pollen does not show on yellow cars.
