Default Ricks Clear headlamp diffusers install

I would post this on s2katlanta, but I'm not a member yet and I recently got a job from being laid off for 3 months! So, I have to wait until I start getting paid again. However, I'm wondering if anyone in GA has done the clear headlight diffuser install? The instructions seem straight forward, but of course, I'm a little uptight about breaking open the headlights... I'm worried I might end up with leaks or something. I was wondering if someone here has done them, if they would help me out or maybe even just give me some tips with what they experienced during the install?

Thanks!

I know a few people have done them. Dewain27 had his done, and I think Jeffxyan baked his so he knows how to put in new ones.

I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to do it. If it's a really big hassle, I think I'm going to avoid for now and work on some other cosmetic mods first...

It sure is a PITA but it is worth it once you are done. I believe they offer a service to do it for you on Rick's site.

Yes, I saw... but my car is a daily driver and I can't go without the headlamps for nearly a week. It takes them 48 hours, but I'll have to ship them too so that's like 3 - 4 days of shipping PLUS shipping charges PLUS the $200+ they charge for doing it. That's a lot of money for something not so important, ya know? I was just wondering about doing it on my own or with some assitance.

it really isn't that hard. I just did mine last week and I would say it took me a total of 3 hours of work. I did let the headlights cure overnight before reinstalling. The first thing I did when I got it back together was to wash the car and go for a drive. No leaks yet.
