I wish I had an extra $1000 to go :

Registration - $160
Hotel - $250 ($99/night + tax)
Airfare - $408
Rental car - $0 (assuming I could find a empty S2000 seat )

Total = $818

Misc. meals and spending money totals up to $1000. Too bad I wasn't the person who won the lottery yesterday .

Dave, I played the Big Game hoping to win so I could host the biggest S2000 party on the planet...and ship everyone's car over and everything. But alas, I didn't win...

Seriously, your cost breakdown is pretty accurate, but you can save a fair amount by using www.hotwire.com and sharing a room with someone will cut the room costs in half. Still not "cheap" ... but a little bit cheaper.
