The removal of the old ones turned out to be an ordeal. of course Melissa was pissy that she had to help. She thought of an idea to use a step ladder to hold the hatch open. I wish she (or I would have) had thought of that so she could have just stayed inside. I ended up having to use the multi-tool to cut off one of the lower studs. Now that hatch opens up on it's own without assistance.
