I wish I could find one. Some "shops" claim they have a PDR guy but it is by appointment only and no weekends. I don't like the idea of scheduling an appointment just to see if the guy can even do it or what it would cost... The one that they had at the super meet in 2007 was a GOD.

Indeed. I'm sure those guys will be busy after that storm, too. I already had some dents I wanted to remove so this might just be what gets the car to the shop.

So just Googling "PDR Loudoun County" turns up a whole bunch of alternatives. Won't be hard to find someone to do the work. I guess I'll start making appointments for estimates once I see what I am dealing with. Bad timing with kitchen renovation just about to start but oh well... Time to make me some lemon aid?

I think it isn't enough of a demand business for people to just hang out in a shop all day and have customers come by when they can. They would lose all their profit to overhead so the only way to make it worth anybody's time is to do it by appointment. The couple shops I am going to investigate are places were the PDR guys work in someones mechanic shop or collision center. My guess is that they aren't there all the time so you have to agree to meet them in advance.

I think what I'll do is just send them an email describing what I have and see if I can stop by some night on my way home. Maybe leave work early or something... So long as I don't have to make an appointment for some weird time, I think it'll be easy to get the estimate.

Oh, I agree with you there 110% I dread the time it will consume to get to this place, deal with him and get back on my way home. It'll blow an entire evening for me. And that will be just one appointment. If I want to get a couple of guys to look at this? *sigh*

Wasn't the guy Matt from somewhere around you? He fixed my dings and worked a miracle on Jim's hardtop. I think that was like 2015?
