My dept is open the week of crimmus, but this middle manager won’t be back until the 2nd.

I am working all five next week and plan on making 9-1/2 hour days out of some of them. I am in vacation day hording mode plus I figure it will be super quiet around here and "vacationing in place" isn't so bad.

It is already on skeleton crew mode here (I love it). I'm still recovering from the election... I still can't get over the whole "hey you want to take off like all these days over the holidays because you can you know." Not used to that at all.

That is pretty uncommon where I work, too. My company only makes money if my butt is in my seat at the client site. Bill.... Bill..... Bill..... If the guberment is closed, that is is one thing but if it is open, I am expected to be here and charging.
