I see this track addiction has not abated one bit.

Here is a track day at Daytona on the Rolex 24 circuit

George, at FC, I had a couple of times where shifting 3-4 wasn't clean before the bridge straight. For a quite some time I've not been able to shift 1-2 at redline. I purchased the AP2 tranny used and for a very low price as a precautionary measure, not for speed.

My AP1 might be fine... dunno.

Perhaps. Guess I'd better learn to heel-toe.
Or just brake then match revs, its slower but it does the trick. I can only heel-toe auto-xing w/ out shoes on I thought I would be alright w/ my new driving shoes on Shenandoah but my foot was still too big with shoes on.

That's where I'm at now.

I purchased a book on competition car aerodynamics. Very enightening. It'll help me tackle downforce more systematically versus just slapping some aero parts on.

I can't get it figured out either. Legs too big. I end up hitting the steering wheel. I might try sitting in Jeff's car and see how the lower seat rails feel.

trust me, getting on it will not be necessary. I haven't gotten on it in the last 400 miles or so as I'm trying to be gentle on the gears. My noisy transmission problems can be heard going pretty much any speed in any gear. Then there's the whole floppy/slappy clutch sound (ugh).
